Curing Oven

Curing ovens are an integral component of the powder coating process, playing a crucial role in achieving durable and high-quality finishes for coated parts. These ovens are available in various sizes and can be powered by electricity or gas, offering flexibility to accommodate different production needs.

Versatile Sizing Options:

Curing ovens come in a range of sizes to suit the requirements of different applications. From small- to medium-sized parts that can be cured in compact benchtop ovens to larger industrial-scale production environments, there are options available to meet diverse needs.

Temperature Control and Curing Parameters:

The curing process involves heating coated parts to specific temperatures for a predetermined duration. Most powders typically require curing temperatures between 160-200°C and curing times ranging from 10 to 20 minutes. However, variations in powder types may necessitate adjustments in temperature and time. It's essential to follow the manufacturer’s instructions to achieve optimal results.

Key Role in Powder Coating:

Curing ovens provide the heat necessary to cure the powder coating, resulting in a smooth and durable finish. They ensure that the coating adheres properly to the substrate, offering resistance to corrosion, abrasion, and other environmental factors.

Considerations for Selection:

When selecting a curing oven, factors such as the size of the parts being coated, production volume, and specific requirements of the powder coating process need to be considered. This ensures that the chosen oven is capable of delivering consistent and reliable results.

Tunnel Type Curing Oven

Features:

Tunnel type curing ovens are designed with a conveyor belt system that moves workpieces through a tunnel-shaped chamber.

The oven is typically long and narrow, with the conveyor belt running through the center of the chamber.

Heating elements are positioned along the walls or ceiling of the tunnel to provide consistent heat distribution. And wind curtain at both ends to efficiently prevent heat loss of the oven.

Tunnel type ovens are well-suited for continuous production lines with high throughput requirements.

Bridge Type Curing Ovens

Bridge type curing ovens feature a stationary oven chamber with a bridge or gantry system that moves the workpieces in and out of the oven.

the structure is better on thermal insulation, with hot air flowing around the top zone so that it will not have convection with cold air outside, which offer lower energy consumption. This design is more suitable for wide workpiece instead of longer one.
